the Bo-TREE-Sattva
Dit schilderij is geinspireerd van de term Bodhisattva, een wezen uit het Boeddhisme. Zij kiest ervoor om in verlichtte staat toch op aarde te blijven om anderen te helpen naar verlichting. Haar vertoning heb ik gecombineerd met een boom en laten samensmelten tot een nieuw fenomeen.

This painting is inspired by the Bodhisattva, a being from Buddhism. She choses to remain on earth in her enlightened state to help others achieve enlightenment. I combined her depiction with a tree and let them merge into the new phenomenon.

Een fantasie boom zwevend in ruimte met menselijke sproeten, gewoon omdat ik het een grappig idee vond :) Ook een leuk gegeven is dat aan deze boom het maanfruit groeit. Als het fruit rijp is om te eten zal het gaan gloeien net de de maan. Ze smaken naar een combinatie van kaas en banaan.

A fantasy tree floating in space with humen-like freckles, just for fun :) Also nice to know is that on this tree will grow the moonfruit. If those are ripe to eat it they will glow like the moon. It taste like a combination of banana and cheese.
